Job Well Done!

For the last week of our 40 day assignment in New England, the students wanted to go to the hardest place and share the gospel. Our whole time in New England we kept hearing, “Harvard is too hard,” so we knew that was where we should go.

Red Sox vs. Jesus

That day there was a Boston Red Sox game versus the NY Yankees. One of our students, a NYC native stood up in the subway station and shouted, “I’ve got good news! The Yankees won tonight!”

As the crowd of 300 fans booed and shouted at him, he added, “Just kidding, that’s not good news.” But now every eye was on him. He began to preach the gospel to all 300 of them as they stood and listened.

When the student finished preaching, another student stood up and invited anyone that wanted to give their lives to the Lord to come forward. A lady pushed her way forward from the back of the crowd and weeping, said, “I need prayer. I want to receive the Lord.” They led her to Jesus right there on the subway train.

Can’t Play Basketball with Crutches

Two students saw a Harvard basketball player crossing the square on crutches so they asked if they could pray for him. When they finished praying, they asked how the pain was on a scale of 1-10. He said that it had been a level 10 pain and was down to a 5. They responded, “Well, God wants it a zero. Let’s pray some more!”

After they prayed again he said, “It’s a zero. It’s healed!” He began walking around Harvard carrying his crutches.

Within hours we received phone calls from Christians at Harvard saying, “The word is getting out all over the campus that a basketball player has been healed by those Jesus people that have invaded our campus!!!!!”

Good without God

One of our students somehow found herself invited to a meeting at Harvard called the ‘Good without God’ Club. It is the main humanistic and atheistic group on campus, led by Harvard professors. One professor asked her to share what we were doing and why we were talking about Jesus all over the campus. She shared that God sent us on an assignment to New England to Save the Lost, Open the Heavens, and Strengthen the Believers. Then she boldly shared the gospel to the entire group.

Later that day, a girl stopped her on the bus and asked, “Hey, are you that Jesus Girl that talked at our club today?” The girl said, “I was there and heard you speak. I knew the Lord once. But when I came to Harvard I walked away from the faith… and I haven’t had peace since. I know that what you said is true. Would you pray for me?”

The Harvest

By the end of our trip, God convinced us that Harvard is not too hard. They are human hearts and God wants to reach them. All He needs is for someone to open their mouth. You sent us; We opened our mouths; And God filled them.

Because you sent us to New England through your prayers and financial support, Harvard heard that Jesus Christ is Lord. The believers at Yale, MIT, and Boston University are strengthened in their faith and are daring to believe God to send revival. And those are just a few examples; our students ministered at over 50 campuses across New England.

Everywhere we went during our 30 days in New England, believers thanked us for coming. Some wept, encouraged to hear that God had sent us from half-way across the country. Those words of thanks are as much to you as they were to us.

We did it! Job Well Done,

Joseph & Heba

Everyone who CALLS on the name of the Lord will be saved!

How can they CALL on the one they have not BELIEVED in?

And how can they BELIEVE in the one of whom they have not HEARD?

And how can they HEAR without someone PREACHING to them?

And how can they PREACH unless they are SENT?

Thank You for SENDING Us to the Harvest in New England!!!
