I was just looking on our website in the ‘Brief History of IHOP-KC’ section and I somehow feel that there are alot more events that have taken place that really impacted us as a community. I want to get those dates/events compiled into a list, but I need your help.

To update the list with an event that I have missed, just leave a comment on this article. You can also respond on Facebook if you want.

Please keep it in the same format as below: [Date] – [Event (if you have a hyperlink to the ministry or event website, that’s even better)]

Here is what I have right now:

May 7, 1999 – International House of Prayer birthed (13 hours/day)

Sept. 19, 1999 – International House of Prayer begins 24 hours a day.

Sept. 2000 – IHOPU (formerly FSM) begins offering classes

Jan 2002 – Global Bridegroom Fast launches (fasting teams covering 365 days a year begin on May 7, 2002)

Sept. 19, 2002 – the Healing Rooms open

Dec 5, 2002 – Forerunner Christian Fellowship launched.

May 2007 – IHOP partners with GodTV to make the prayer room available online 24/7

Sept 2007 – IHOP and TheCall join (Lou Engle moves to Kansas City)

Jan 2008 – Egypt emphasized (one of our personal highlights)

Jan 2008 – Call2All launched by YWAM

Jan 2008 – Luke18 Project launched to begin planting prayer furnaces all across the earth

Sept. 19, 2009 – IHOP-KC commits to combine 24/7 prayers for Justice with 24/7 works of Justice until Jesus returns (added by Julia Palermo)
