Campus Prayer Meetings – Keeping the Fire Burning
I was just looking around the Luke18 Project website today when I came across the map you see to the right*. Each of the red pins is a prayer meeting. Wow!
I am amazed at the beauty of what the Lord is doing across the nation. I remember so well back in 2000 when Heba and I first caught the vision for prayer. We kept wondering, “What would God do if we would dare to believe Him that all of His promises are true?” As we studied the Word, we came to the conclusion that prayer is our way as humans of “taking God up on His offer”.
The thing that encourages me the most is that this is only the prayer meetings that we know about. There are hundreds more happening in college dorm rooms, church basements, offices, and a ton of other places.
Let the Fragrance Arise!
*Actually the one on their site is much cooler, mine is just a screenshot of it. Theirs is interactive and lets you see information about all of the prayer meetings. Click here to visit it
